In 1954 Mayie Maitia is a community leader who is the organizer of the Wool Growers Restaurant. Wool Growers is the famous Basque restaurant in Bakersfield is formed to provide guests the luxury Basque dining with relaxed and family oriented atmosphere. While the guest enter they are transport them to the Basque country where a world is like a heaven. Growers are a head of the Capona community. We serves the dishes for the South of France and Northern Spain region recognize as traditions cooking with unique force full people.
Wool Growers provide you facility of private rooms for Friday or Saturday for 60 people or more. We treat you as our family and serving you delicious and rich food with temperate and relaxing atmosphere, we also offer special menu like Rack of Lamb, Prime Rib, or Scampi. We have a large list of wine.

I always take out of town guests in this restaurant. Each one is fond of it. I will highly recommend to every one who wants to give there guests best and memorable dinner and lunch!!!!!!!!!

Last Monday I went Wool Growers Restaurant with my friends to celebrate the farewell party of our college days. Its a lovely place. I really enjoy lovely dinner with friendly atmosphere.

I love this restaurant bcaz my husband and I take our first meeting dinner in it. We love this restaurant very much. We enjoy traditional dinner. I miss the taste of the food.
